I would always say James was a lucky guy, but the unbelievable weather Jame’s and Cheryl had on their day was little more than miraculous , it was a March day that was topping 20 degrees loosening the top buttons and burning a few shoulders…. needless to say a great day was had by all.  Here’s a few from the day…

I first met them both in their home last May, Kym is an Air Stewardess for Virgin Atlantic and Mark is a graphic Artist /Mac operator and live in Heburn,  I knew straight away they were going to make amazing pictures.. and I was right.  Kym’s dress was a stunning Pronovias ” Sam Patrick” dress from The White Tulip wedding company in Prudhoe and it fit her like a glove, She looked absolutely stunning. The gorgeous flowers and table decorations were from Helen at the very talented Bels flowers ,  with some finishing touches from Charlotte at the ermm….. the aptly named Finishing touch company

I had such a good time photographing their wedding and it felt more like I was a guest than working , I even tried a bit of Magic ( arguably ) only to get the odd smile from her fantastic kids, My daughter, who assisted me has a future boyfriend there I think! but I was there to work and work I did, below are a few images from the day.

 Kym & Mark,  you are some of the most genuine and nicest people I have met in such a long time, the love you have for your children is plain for all to see, I wish you all every health and happiness.

We do like to set ourselves challenges when we go out and about and this one was the limitation of only one prime lens a (50mm in my case) and one reflector to compensate for the harsh sunlight.

shooting with a 50mm Tamarin’s back was to the sun, I used a reflector to bounce some of the light back into Tamarin’s Eyes

Anyway, I did threaten to post a few of the behind the scene shots of the model shoot in Newcastle and here they are. As you can see we really are a nice bunch of friendly people, theres lots of lying around, (especialy Sniper Phil) frolics and fun and we do like to have a mess around ( especialy Karen), in professional way of course!

I met up with Karen Mcgrowen and Phil nunez, two of the North Easts top wedding photography talent for an impromptu shoot somewhere in Newcastle.

Armed only with one flash each we took to the Newcastle streets with out trustee model, the very lovely Sophie mckennzy.

We managed to make complete fools of ourselves as paaers by stopped to look at our shinanigans but did have a great time as we captured some great images in the process! Sophie even got to splash in some puddles too

The wedding had a lovely winter theme, (including the cold) Sharon decorated the tables herself, with a little help from friends and family and made an utterly fantastic job to boot., The cake was stunning and was made by her Aunt and again following a winter theme came complete with snowflakes and frost. Sharon looked amazing in her dress, and the boots where definately a new one on me.

So…. here’s to you Sharon and Iain, and when you have your first child… your gonna need photos x

I got to say, They both looked amazing in their dresses holding matching bouquets,linking arms with Don ( Denise’s Dad)  I had the best seat in the house to witness the whole event. I had a great time at Seaham hall along with both sets of families who were all great fun, especially the attempted lighting of the sky lanterns which I think where made of lead!

Alas we ran out of light as the day flew by way too fast. Here’s a few from the day.
